iGA chief discusses cooperation with Digital Dubai DG

Bahrain Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, met with Digital Dubai Director-General, Hamad Al Mansoori, with whom he discussed opportunities for mutual cooperation in technology and digital transformation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

iGA chief discusses cooperation with Digital Dubai DGA delegation from the iGA was present at the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2022 in Dubai. Al Qaed hailed the progress the UAE, particularly Dubai, had made in the deployment of modern technology, praising Digital Dubai’s contributions to providing advanced eServices that encourage investment. The UAE’s technology sector has been successful due to its robust infrastructure and the effectiveness of its digital initiatives and policies.

Bahrain and the UAE are advancing with their eGovernment and digital strategies, in line with future trends, particularly when it comes to providing efficient and high-quality services. By doing so, both countries will be able to attain high eGovernment rankings, while their joint efforts to transform their governments will be enhanced. Considering that Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is essential to their future visions in all areas of life, he stressed the importance of investigating the success stories of each country.
