Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has announced that 40 percent of construction work on the biggest exhibition hall in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has been completed. The hall, the first of its kind in the region, is being built on a 1,000 square metre site in the Marina area, opposite the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, near the waterfront, with work progressing at a rapid pace, two weeks ahead of schedule.
Construction of this multipurpose hall is part of ADNEC’s overall strategy to expand its business portfolio and to develop trade centers in order to diversify their business. The tourism industry in Abu Dhabi will benefit greatly from the new project because it is expected to increase economic and social revenues by a significant amount.
