The UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, witnessed the launch of an e-book in which 50 portraits of individuals are used to tell the story of the UAE’s seven emirates. This book, titled 50U, tells the story of the seven emirates through 50 portraits of individuals, vegetation and locations in tribute to Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum whose legacy is revered in the UAE.
Yasser Bin Khediya, a UAE businessman, conceived the book, which made its debut in Dubai’s Alserkal Avenue. He has teamed up with his daughters Roadha and Khawla, as well as Dutch graphic designer and bookmaker Irma Boom to create a publication celebrating the UAE’s inspiring journey to become a sought-after world vacation destination.
