Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed meets Kosovo’s Prime Minister in New York

MENA Newswire News Desk: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met with Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The meeting was attended by Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz.

The discussions focused on several key topics on the agenda of the UNGA 79, including strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations. Among the areas of focus were economic, commercial, investment, and energy sectors, reflecting the growing strategic interests shared by the UAE and Kosovo. Both sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on international collaboration and the development of both nations.

Sheikh Abdullah praised the strong ties between the UAE and Kosovo, underlining the UAE’s commitment to expanding these relations in ways that promote mutual benefits and advance their development objectives. Sheikh Abdullah further emphasized the UAE’s dedication to fostering deeper partnerships with Kosovo, noting that these relationships are vital to both countries’ long-term economic and social goals.

He highlighted how their cooperation could contribute to the broader international community, particularly in areas like renewable energy and trade. Kosovo’s Prime Minister, along with Minister Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, discussed ways to implement agreements signed between the two nations, exploring new opportunities for collaboration in key sectors.
