Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, held a meeting today with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The meeting marked the commencement of Sheikh Abdullah’s official visit, coinciding with the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting and the Fourth UAE-India Strategic Dialogue.

During the discussions, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed warm greetings from UAE leaders, including President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Prime Minister Modi reciprocated these sentiments, expressing best wishes for the UAE’s continued growth and prosperity.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the depth and strength of the bilateral relationship between the UAE and India, underscoring its historical roots and enduring significance. “Over more than 50 years, the two nations have built a unique model of privileged relations founded on trust, mutual respect, and shared interests,” he noted, adding that this partnership has grown into a comprehensive collaboration promoting sustainable development for both nations.
